Greenberg Traurig CA (SF/SV/LA) - Culture/Pay/etc

Any information about the culture/pay would be helpful.
I have searched through the threads on here and I've seen sweatshop, high billables, etc. come up, but nothing specific to the CA shops.

Bump. Sounds like Greenberg has a bad rep especially in its NY office, but are the CA offices different? Seems like the CA offices try to emphasize low hours, life style and better partner-associate relationships from my limited exposure to the group. Would appreciate any additional insight . . .

Greenberg is a firm that partners go to to do their own thing. It's an eat what you kill firm.

Exactly. Plus they don’t think they’re in the running for super competitive grads. So they don’t seem to give a fuck about running their associates ragged.
