I am a happy 2nd year in general corporate (mostly m&a) biglaw law firm. Not looking to leave now. Firm seems to like me also. However, I’m not a lifer and foresee the possibility that I would like to leave as a 4th/5th year. Where? Unsure so far, maybe in-house, business side or something else.
What steps should I take now to best set myself up for a seamless and good transition?
