NY 50 hour requirement- can it be done in another state

If this is the wrong forum then I apologize
As people who took and passed the NY Bar exam know, you have to complete a 50 hour pro bono requirement (or as I like to call it, slavery) before being certified as a lawyer in NY state. My questions is, can it be done in another state? After 3 attempts, I passed the NY bar this past July. 2 years ago, I passed the bar in NJ. I did pro bono work at a legal aid organization in Newark and I had a great experience. If I'm going to do 50 hours of unpaid work, I'd at least like to do it for people that I like. Can I fulfill the 50 hour requirement in the Garden State?
