Where to find job openings

Post by swtlilsoni » Wed Oct 25, 2017 1:33 pm

I have been using the following websites to check for job openings to apply to:
- USAJobs
- my school's symplicity
- PSJD
- Idealist

Are there any others? This feels very limited because there aren't a huge number of new postings every day and I certainly have time to apply to more than just the few that show up on here. Maybe we can create a big list of everything. If this already exists in another thread please point me to it.

GoInHouse.com is a great resource for in-house openings. ZipRecruiter too.

Here's some more. YMMV and there will be overlapping job postings, in my experience.

- Local bar association classifieds
- Specialized bar association classifieds and listservs
- BYU Jobbank (PW should be in the Vale's 1st post, but as you've seen the PW changes so quickly now. Come on BYU...)
- Craigslist (lotta shit law jobs but a job is a job)
- Governmentjobs.com for local govt stuff
- Indeed.com
- LinkedIn
- Appearance/coverage for hearings. websites appearanywhere.com (check local ethics rules b/c this stuff can get awkward quick. Stuff like "Hi lead counsel! Your client just perjured themselves!")
- For doc review, check craigslist and posselist.com Yeah it sucks but bills need to be paid.
- For venting about job search, Vale thread. Also JDU.
