Getting a bit ahead of yourself, aren't you?

Edit: And how did a Chicago prosecutor end up going back to 2L?

Just thinking proactively. That post was for my sister's legal employment situation.
...that's totally normal.

I was going to say more, but it actually applies to both of your sentences. Stop thinking about how to decline an offer you don't have, and teach your sister how to use the internet.

Uh huh...

Anyway, I declined an offer after my SA summer. Not super complicated. Just be polite and professional.

Funny how the word "I" works.

I declined an offer from my SA. As the above suggests, be polite and apply elsewhere. I'd add that you should give no explanation unless asked why (and if asked why, give as minimal/inoffensive an explanation as possible).

This is the second time in a couple weeks I've seen someone blame an inconsistent post history on their sister. Y'all really can't think of a better excuse? That's some weak shit.
