A recruiter from a BL regional office gave me a call.. It's an office that takes 1-2 SAs.

She told me "we're keeping your resume on file in case our hiring needs change or we change our mind".

Is there anything I can do besides assume this is a ding.

Letter of continued interest perhaps?

I'm not opposed to a ding by phone per se, but I felt this recruiter was absolutely terrible. Just say I didn't get the job, and I'll move on. Making me think I'm on some sort of wait list just makes it worse.
