They all do; bottom 1/5th of those who receive offers are usually not invited so the firm could renege on the offer if need be. /s

Was your v10 in NY or a satellite? In my experience offer dinners are more common in New York.
2/4 of the v10s I was considering did not have offer dinners. This was in SF/la.

V10 in NY. I had 5 other V10 offers in NY and chose this one but they seem like the only firm that doesn't wine and dine, the rest had offer dinners
