Callback at Latham Chicago last week, no news since, I'm out right?

Checking. I really liked Latham and all of my other Chicago offers came within a couple days of the CB. Any hope for me or nah?

How long has it been? I work at a different Latham office and we definitely had offers go out approximately a week after the interview. Usually people we didn't immediately love (no offense OP - I'm sure you're a fine candidate and this process is so arbitrary) so the recruiting committee would have some additional discussions and would wait to see the outcome of some other outstanding offers before making the decision.
I'd say if it's been well over a week then it's less likely to be good news, but I'm not privy to their office practice specifically.

Former Latham Chi summer. They are notoriously slow. This is largely because of the smaller summer classes compared to other Chicago firms.

My callback was a little over a week ago. I figured I was either on the "waitlist" or had been rejected already.

What day was CB? Committee meets on Tuesdays.

Very likely out and/or waitlist. Enough offers out that we'll probably hit target.

Could be waitlisted, but I would say it is pretty safe to say you are out if you do not hear by the end of the week.
