I'm an associate at a mid size firm on Long Island. I've been at my current firm for about 3 years and I'm considering trying to lateral to another LI firm. Does anyone here have experience with that? What are salaries like at some of the larger LI firms?

I am a senior associate at a major LI firm. What would you like to know?

Salary structure and how often associates lateral to other firms. Our raises have been ok, but I wonder whether I could do better at another firm. Also, it is such a small region that I'm not sure how I would interview without partners finding out.

I'd also like to know the exit options from your firm.
