Offer Dinners

Do all big law firms do this? I have been invited to dinners for most of my offers. Is not having one indicative of a firm being cheap?

I don't think it's that common, but my offers are leaner boutiques and midsize firms, so....
Consider it a compliment

Also wondering- are these for ppl who are still on the fence or for ppl who accepted the offer already also?
