Too late to tell firm they're first choice?

Had a cb with a firm and thought it went pretty well, but didn't mention that they were my top pick during any of the interviews. By the end of the cb lunch, I realized that I would absolutely accept an offer from this firm on the spot. Now I feel like I messed up by not saying they were my top choice. Is it weird to send a thank you email and drop a line in there somewhere saying that? Should I just wait? I really really want this firm and now nerves are killing me (especially since I didn't ask about timeline and I know I won't hear anything over the weekend). Thank you!

It's not weird to send this kind of follow-up email. A lot of people do it.
It's not necessarily helpful though. Usually if we take a while to get back to someone, it's because we're trying to figure out if that person will do well at the firm. The fact that he or she is eager to work at the firm is basically irrelevant.

I sent a thank you email to the recruiter and in that email, mentioned they were my top choice. I heavily implied it in the thank you emails I sent to the partners I interviewed with as well.

I would wait. It sounds desperate as if all other firms rejected you.
