I scheduled a CB approximately two weeks from today, and now I am worried that the firm will have extended all their offers by the time I interview there. What is the etiquette for rescheduling CBs? Is it unheard of? Should I contact the career services office at my school? And should I emphasize in my email that they are one of my top choices (which they are)?


I should note, too, that I was given complete latitude as to when my CB would take place.

For what its worth I just successfully rescheduled a call back to a week earlier by writing an email to recruiting.

If you have to reschedule, do it early and explain the reason for rescheduling. They'll work with you as long as you remain cordial and transparent in the process.

Be an excellent communicator, it's what we need as future attorneys, and this sort of practice can help in your future career.

Just call, reiterate that you're very interested, and say that you had your schedule open up and would love to come in sooner if they can accommodate you. Easy peasy.
