How much travel does a typical junior corporate associate do? Specifically, junior associates at V20 firms on the West coast?

Little, and most likely, none. Vacations are a different story, though.

Likely zero, aside maybe for some recruiting stuff assuming you went to a T-14. Otherwise, restructuring and some lit groups are the only ones I know of who travel at all (excluding FCPA and other hybrid regulatory/lit type niches).

Perhaps traveling to a conference or two.
