meltzer lippe and smith sovik and morrison mahoney - are these shitlaw? how much do you think firms like these pay?

Meltzer Lippe is odd. Their tax, corporate and real estate people are the excellent. But then they caved somewhere along the way and picked up a few higher end carriers. Now they have some great midmarket practice groups mixed with shit like Long Island construction defect litigation.
