I am not OP but i am curious as well. I go to top 10 law school. I received 22.

Rising 2L here, so grain of salt and all that. The way I see it, preselects are a good first step, but offer conversion rate is much more important. You may have gotten 20 preselects where you were barely competitive for those firms and only convert 1-2 of them (1-2 is still more than enough since you realistically only need 1 offer). Others may only get 8 preselects but convert 5 of 8 because they bid smartly on firms they knew they had a shot with.

I guess what I'm getting at is it's too early to be reading tea leaves about whether you bid smartly/are doing well in the OCI rat race.

enough to net you at least one offer, which will depend on numerous factors you cannot know a priori.
