Top Law Schools

Hi, I'm very interested in project finance as well as capital markets. What are people's thoughts on White & Case? I know they've done well last couple years ( #1 in m&a last year in Mergermarket's m&a deal value rankings, working on Saudi Aramco IPO, etc) but what else do people think about the firm??

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I know their Miami office has a top-notch reputation if you're willing to work the hours.

#1 in M&A by what metric?

Solidly good, but not top flight NYC firm, great international practice, new glass offices.

Agree with poster above. Great international presence if you ever want to work abroad or if you like being at the center of cross-border transactions (as opposed to magic circle firms, where you're doing cross-border deals but only working on smaller US components). That said, I definitely wouldn't consider it a top shop for M&A in New York if that's what you're interested in.
