Has anyone applied/heard anything? On my T14's Symplicity I've seen Skadden, Latham, and Kirkland postings.

You should just hit up firms directly instead of relying on on-campus interviewing.

What time do people usually apply to firms directly? I'm thinking of applying to a few, should I wait till I hear if I get an offer or not from my current summer position?

I have submitted my resume on Symplicity and emailed the materials to some firms. No response yet -- maybe it's still too early.

If it's a biglaw SA, you should probably wait until you get an offer.

Has there been any movement yet? When is a good time to mass mail?

I see the same Skadden/Latham/K&E postings. Also see stuff for Quinn (but I assume that's a given)

For the majority of firms, their summer programs end this week.

I'm IP so I might be a bit different but I have 7 screeners so far, with one of them being Latham.

I did not like where I summered and would like to change firms, but I'm clerking next year. Am I even eligible to participate on 3L OCI? I really don't want to go back to my summer firm after clerking, but I'm worried about how hard it seems for clerks to land offers post-clerkship (if you don't believe me check out the post-clerkship hiring thread).

No news whatsoever? It seems 3L hiring is really slow this year...

Checking in, trying to switch to DC market, only DC office coming to my school is Quinn, so I'm just mass mailing. Anyone know of DC offices, other than Cleary, that are hiring 3Ls?
