Resume Question

Is it ever appropriate to have high-school era awards on you resume post law school, even if they are in some sense "prestigious"?

I always assumed the answer to this was a resounding "no" but I've seen some people who are also 3-5 years out from undergrad (not necessarily in the legal field) still list National Merit Scholar on their resumes. Is this just a bad idea or is winning the National Merit Scholarship a big enough deal that you should find space for it on the resume?

(I mean maybe if you medaled at the Olympics or something, but this isn't that.)
