Writing briefs is generally fun, and motions to dismiss are usually the most fun to write. Legal research can be fun. Depositions are fun but deposition prep is stressful and terrible. Document review itself is fine, but everything else associated with discovery - negotiating search terms, writing and responding to motions to compel, creating privilege logs, meeting and conferring with opposing counsel, writing discovery correspondence, dealing with our discovery vendor, etc. - is awful and by far the worst part of this job.
