For me, I was curious about the ideas that created societal conceptions of "right and wrong."

Because construction didn't pay worth a shit to begin with, the market crashed, and I didn't want to be physically disabled at 50.

Also I wanted to go into employment law so I could help companies fire people.

I had no idea how to do what I wanted without a grad degree and a lot of my friends and mentors went to law school and encouraged me to do it. Not the best reasons since being a lawyer wasn't necessarily one of them, but it turned out ok.

I liked working in tax but I disliked how little money tax accountants made.

Did becoming a lawyer help you figure that out?

I was working in consulting and my firm made me a software tester. I was about a year from getting fired for being too expensive and my work experience was too TTT to get into a good MBA program. Law school is my second chance at having a successful career.

Depends on the kind of boat. A yacht, fishing boat, or just a regular recreational marine boat? Also, approximate value? Let me know and I can advise.

If you had to choose just one, would you choose money, bottles, or models?

I didn't want to go to graduate school because I did not like any particular field enough to devote my life to it. I worked in a small business and noticed how attorneys were consulted for many different types of problems and giving advice. I guess the idea of counseling someone on a problem and the supposed prospect of working in multiple areas of law (and not having a passion for anything else that made money) got me to sign on.

I graduated with an econ degree during the second worst recession in American history, which was in large part caused by the failure of banks and other institutions that needed people with a degree in econ.

I got charged with a felony and bunch of misdemeanors in college and decided to be the one making those decisions instead of being a victim.

I realize this wasn't directed at me, but I'm pretty sure the money and bottles are just a means to get the models.

So models. The answer is models. If anyone here would pick being rich with good liquor over beautiful women, I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you.

22' sailboat. Replacement value roughly $4,000. Top speed: 5 mph, maybe 7 if you catch the wind just right. Color: Hideous 1970s yellow. DGAF

May or may not have a big ole hole in the front. Owner may view boating while sober as an act against God

Lt. Dan 11:22-11:33 wrote: And God sayeth unto him, "Sail into the storm, and imbibe strong liquor, and ye shall not perish," and Dan looked up at the mighty wrath of God and proclaimed "IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?" and God did not smite him, for verily Dan had followed his commandment.
No longer has a big ole hole in front. 22 layers of fiberglass and 1/2 gallon of epoxy later it's rock solid. Just needs sanded and painted now.

Given that boat, I would recommend getting a quote from Traveler's Insurance Company. You will want to sign up for an actual cash value policy because being paid on the
depreciated value of the boat in the event of a loss is going to save you a lot of premium dollars versus the "agreed value" policy which is common for watercraft insurance. Traveler's also offers discounts of 5-10% if you take a boaters safety course.

There are several companies out there that deal with speciality watercraft or high end water craft, but those companies likely have no desire to underwrite a boat like you described.

I'm not knocking your boat at all. That's awesome you have a boat and I hope you booze your ass off on it, I know I would.
