Based on their April Fools Day Pranks, I'd say Weil has fun.

look I know they all have brutal hours and sucky work life balance, that doesnt mean some arent better than others. I have friends in nyc firms and know for a fact that they sometimes go to games or bars with other associates. Just not sure which are better for this stuff

Any of the NY firms will have hundreds of people and you'll find your bro (or some other) niche wherever you go. But there are NY firms with "bro" and "fratty" reputations, and at least looking at the people headed to those firms from my T14, I'd say that's kind of true.
Such firms are (in no particular order): Kirkland, Latham, Willkie, Skadden, and Cahill, just to name the few that comes to mind. Also note that transactional groups (M&A in particular) generally will be more "bro-y" than litigation groups at most firms.

During your callback just ask the hiring partner "How hard do yall party?". It's a standard question.

The more associates in your office the more likely you'll find people who like to go out after work/on the weekends (when available). But in reality, most people are too tired to go out or have families at home they want to see when they do have free time. I find it more appealing to hang out with non-lawyers in my free time anyway.

You are taking a beating here and i get why, but it's not actually a terrible question. Firms in the city are pretty varied in what level and types of morale boosting fringe benefits they offer and there's not great information on it.
The real issue is that it's not a good reason to choose between firms but it may make more of a difference than some other stupid grasps at differentiating factors that get discussed here.

Not in NYC, but I'm at a biglaw firm in a secondary market. We don't have a lot of leverage and everyone is married, literally everyone. I'm the type that likes to go out and be social with coworkers, so it actually made a pretty big difference in my first year. I finally found some people that I clicked with outside of work, which has made a very big difference for me. I don't think this was a dumb question at all. The phrasing wasn't great, but yeah, it can make a difference in your overall happiness.

Re: fun nyc law firms??
I am not in NYC, but a major market and we have quarterly associate happy hours where we rent out bars and all the associates go out on the firm tab and weekly happy hours at the firm. Also, occasional access to the firm's box for sporting events and concerts (usually when clients cancel). I think that is pretty common at most of the top firms. Anything beyond that is more like tech companies and I haven't heard of any firms doing those types of things. Although maybe some of the CA firms do.
