This is in the context of the PSLF lawsuit that was discussed on here a few months ago. http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... T#p9708662

From what I've read, it's all about non-profits which are tax-exempt under provisions other than 501(c)(3). VVA (mentioned in the article) is a 501(c)(19). The PSLF program is much more vague about organizations which are not 501(c)(3).
The ABA is more complicated. They have a branch which is under 501(c)(3) whereas the bulk or the organization is 501(c)(6). So it's harder to quantify where the salary comes from...
