Anyone have any insight into insurance covery work? Looking at a firm that pays market, but focuses almost exclusively on insurance recovery work. Seems like it might not be a bad gig?

Like Subrogation?
It depends on the client, I do some subrogation for a risk pool and the work varies from 2million malpractice suits for embezzlement to 1.5k recoveries for damages to signs/curbs after car accidents.
Perk: many pay like plaintiffs lawyers, I.e a percentage of the recovery, all while not having to deal with plaintiffs as clients.
Drawback: some of the work is straight BS that will make you question how close to the ethical line you're treading.
