1L Summer Question: Poll

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Feb 26, 2017 3:41 pm

I have an offer from a mid-sized firm and an offer from a LARGE museum's legal department, for 1L summer. I will be splitting with a federal district judge. Which would you take? I am Top 10% at T1 school in a large city, with goals of transactional big law. No student loan debt.

Houston?

The in-house legal team at the museum is probably very small and while it may be educational, it would lead to less networking, obviously less pay, and fewer opening of doors for future opportunities.

I'd genuinely like to hear someone's justification for voting museum given OP's career goals.
