Transitioning from JD Preferred to Attorney Law Firm Position

Hey guys! I am writing to seek some advice, possibly based on your knowledge or experiences.
I graduated from a T50 law school where I focused my studies in intellectual property (copyrights and trademarks) and business law. Immediately after graduation, I got secured a job as a Business and Legal Affairs Coordinator at an entertainment company. As a result, I did not take the bar exam in July 2015 since I had already secured this JD preferred role and quite frankly, I was not getting the time off to prepare for the bar exam.
I eventually took the New Jersey Bar Exam in July 2016 and passed. I am now a licensed attorney and I would like to transition into attorney/ associate roles at a law firm to practice copyright/ trademark law OR business law.
I know that this is a non-traditional path but I would greatly appreciate if anyone is able to render any advice on steps to take toward transitioning into a law firm- whether big, mid or small.
Thank You in advance for your responses.
