Im currently a couple years in at a major market biglaw shop and am considering a move to a smaller(ish) city for lifestyle reasons

Does anyone know what the typical midlevel and senior associate salary are for Richmond (have dtrong family ties to the city and was told its a great place for lit) or other secondary cities (Detroit, Minneapolis etc).

For Richmond its easy to find information on first and second year salaries for places like McGuire or Hunton & Williams but not beyond that. Im sure its lower than NYC pay (esp with bonuses) but does anyone know how much lower

Currently in detroit. Starting salary here ranges from 105k (regional firm) - 160k (national big law), depending on the firm. I'd say the average salary growth is 5-15k/year, depending on the firm and your class year.
