Currently in the midst of a clerkship, and am starting to think where I want to go next. A litigation boutique seems really appealing to me. I've seen a few threads recently compiling a list of boutiques in NY and DC, so I thought perhaps we can start one for LA.

I only know of a few, so help me add to this list:

Greenberg Gross can be added to the list, although its primarily in Orange County - Costa Mesa, I believe.

Maybe not really a boutique, but MTO belongs in this list.

There are also a bunch of well-regarded LA firms like Mitchell Silberberg, Greenberg Glusker, and Glaser Weil - I don't know if I would call them "boutiques," but they might be worth looking at.

That's an incredibly nice offer! I heard HH was not hiring anyone, anytime soon, because they just brought on a bunch of new people. I'd be looking to start in the fall, coming off a clerkship. Do you think they are considering additional hires? Also, I'd love to hear about how you've enjoyed it there thus far.

HH is definitely hiring. We brought in a good number of new people, but people regularly leave (mostly for AUSA). I love it here. It can be busy, but you get to do cool stuff on great cases (the plus and minus of very lean staffing). The bonuses are totally out of this world.

I do not understand where that information is coming from. We are hiring.

look at the bios of their associates. cd cal clerks, sdny clerks. they're hiring those people. they ding people who aren't super fancy.

I clerked for CDCA and the Ninth Circuit. The HH rejection still came fast.
