also, i'm sure k&e thought that if a market-leading firm such as pearson specter litt is changing its profit allocations (shifting emphasis from contingency fees to billable hour fees), then it damn well better follow suit(s)

inb4 Kirkland is not on Pearson Specter's level. They are more on par with Paul Weiss.

in all seriousness, i think that reallocating equity partner profits is a smart move that will really ensure that partner compensation at k&e, on balance, remains in balance
