Top Law Schools

Am wondering if anyone has advice or input as to cover letter. Without an extremely compelling personal story, I am finding it hard to craft something that conveys a true, somewhat altruistic, desire to be a prosecutor without simply speaking in vague, cliche platitudes that will blend in. Just wondering what has been successful, what they look for, etc.

Coming from clerkships/biglaw with only standard public interest resume section.
