Are DOJ Honors Attorneys subject to random drug testing?

After you passed the first drug test for DOJ Honors employment, have you ever had to take another drug test? If so, what component and how long after?

Can't speak for DOJ specifically, but I worked in another government office and the policy was we were technically subject to random drug testing but that never happened.

DOJ Attorney within the Criminal Division here:
yes you are subject to random drug tests at any point during your appointment, although I have never seen it. Further, you will be drug tested initially, and most likely, at least once every 5 years depending on clearance (TS/SCI).
Don't do drugs.

Most employers I've known who had random test policies would only enact it if there was a suspicion, out of character behavior or some unexpected change in your work product.
As mentioned below by those working for the government, just don't do it. The potential consequences are pretty obvious.
