I'm curious whether anyone has done this research: Which cities outside the United States have the most major US law firm offices?

Is it feasible for someone knowing only English to work in a non-London office? Speaking from the associate intra-lateral perspective.nealric wrote:London by a wide margin.
Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Paris, Mexico City, Tokyo, and UAE also have a decent number.
Depends on the city/firm/practice. But I know a lot of people in UAE, HK and Singapore who do it. Even met a guy in Tokyo, but the norm in markets like Paris, Mex. City, Frankfurt, etc. is that you will need the local language because you will be working with local clients and documents in their language.Anonymous User wrote:Is it feasible for someone knowing only English to work in a non-London office? I have also seen a lot of people work in UAE/HK with little to no language ability other than English.Anonymous User wrote:Depends on the city/firm/practice.
