Class 2015 looking to lateral

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Oct 06, 2016 7:35 pm

I'm at a firm with a corporate rotation for the first two years. I know what group I want and I'm not looking forward to another year of doing different work.

Any advice on the best way to go about this? In NYC. What are the reputable recruiters, or is it better apply to firms through their websites? Thanks.

In the same position, my approach is to use recruiters to find out which firms have potential openings for your class, then find alumni at said firms to do internal referrals.

Recruiters should be able to tell you which firms and which groups are looking without collecting your resume.
