Top Law Schools

Anyone work or previously work at Venable DC and be willing to share your thoughts? Or anyone in a DC firm be willing to share what their reputation is in DC?

Was a summer there but not in the dc office. I loved it personally

I worked there prior to law school in the DC office. It was a great place to be. Honestly, if I wanted to move back to DC I would go back there post law school (I am now a rising 2L). But I thought the people were really great, and the practice group I worked in had a ton of exciting work going on. It is a very DC firm, with a lot of government relations work, but I would recommend it to anyone. Since I worked there they have moved into really nice offices, also.

Haven't worked there, but know some people who do. I don't *think* they pay market, but other than that I've heard good things.

They are market the first 3 years, after that it's in a range. But the associates I spoke to said it was more than fair

Yeah - never heard any associates complain about it, but just something that might factor into decision making.

Was there as an SA this summer. Loved it. People are awesome. Work was great. They just moved into a new building and its really nice. They have their own firm cafe and the food is really good (and cheap!). Sometimes it's the little things.
