Texas IP/patent practices

Anyone can provide some insights on the strengths of various firms in Texas in patent practices?
Particularly, BB, HayBoo, Bracewell, Norton Rose, Jones Day and Mayer Brown.
Would like to know experiences on substantive work, exit option, as well as salary/bonus progression.
Not tied to either Houston or Dallas or Austin, so location is not an issue.

Interested as well. Also, can anybody speak to AK's acquisition of Kenyon?
