If one does strike out of 2L OCI, does he or she still have a chance to get back in BIGLAW? If so, how?

Also would your chances in getting at BIGLAW mostly depend on 2L grades instead of 1L grades now as well as other extracurricular activities such as moot court, mock trial, clinics, job, externships, journal/review? (I'm guessing you would need similar grades that were needed 1L year for the BIGLAW firm)

I'm guessing if you strike out, you better bust you let behind on these extracurricular activities.

Mass mail immediately. I just received a screener invite by applying through the firm's website and letting the firm know I will be in the area on X date. It's not too late

Yeah you can get lucky in terms of getting hired as a 3L or post-grad without a summer associate if you find the right firm with a need in the right practice area, but the odds are going to be stacked against you.
