Has anyone heard from Cleary NY this week? Had a mid-week interview and a little communication from my thank you notes the day after my CB. It seemed to go really well but I haven't heard anything yet.

Anyone know when the hiring committee in NY meets or should I just move on?

I heard back with an offer 6 days after my CB. I've heard that Cleary takes longer than other New York firms.

Ah thanks that's helpful. I've been getting almost all of my offers w/in 2 days of CB so this had me worried. Thanks for the info

Still no word from Cleary?

nothing yet, going on 9 days since CB. I've heard anything from 1-2 weeks is standard. I got a call about the CB reception and a few confirmation e-mails-- trying not to read tea leaves but this sounds like no ding yet right?

CB Thursday last week, offer Tuesday (yesterday) via phone call

Anybody interviewed with Cleary this week heard from them?

Interviewed on Monday afternoon, offer Wednesday afternoon.

Just as an fyi they have two recruiting meetings a week, so depending on when you interview you may hear back in a couple days or you may hear back in a week. It's not a firm where if you don't hear back in X days it's a bad sign.

Does Cleary send out dings? If it's not an X days kind of firm, how do you know if you're out? Also, are they snail mail or e-mail?

Dings come by email.

This is coming from a recruiter so you never know how accurate it is but I got told today that they will almost always get back with a yes or no within 2 weeks.

Any word from interviews this past Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday?

Mine were pretty laidback, but definitely not the most laidback I've been to.

For those of you looking for hope -- I got my Cleary offer about 6 or 7 weeks after my CB. (Not this year, of course). So cross your fingers and just let the universe do its thing.

When this happens, what did you do? Wouldn't you have accepted a different offer by then?

Yeah, there was some scheduling luck as well. I did my Cleary CB first. I went on the CB for what ended up as my second choice pretty late in the process -- because it was out of town. I didn't even need to ask for an extension
