Did I get CB dinged?
Had a CB on August 2nd at the time the firm had given no offers out. Was told I might hear back sometime this week as the hiring committee meets on friday. No phone call today or e-mail. Did I get ding or maybe they are doing OCI and giving out more CB before starting to offer people?

Based on my experiences: you are in the process of getting dinged via snail mail. If the recruiting contact particularly likes you (and/or feels sorry for you), they'll let you know sooner rather than later via e-mail or when you call to ask on the status of your candidacy. I've had this happen a few times, but because I called and asked nicely, they gave me the heads up before getting dinged via snail mail.
