Rising 3L: Ultimate Goal - SEC Enforcement

Looking for some information/insight and hoping y'all can help out. I'm a rising 3l at a top 20 and my ultimate goal is to end up at the SEC enforcement. This summer I interned with their legal honors at the SEC hq with enforcement and will be interning with enforcement at a regional office this fall. Do you have any insight to how I eventually get a position with the SEC? From my understanding SEC enforcement has little to no hiring for entry-level enforcement. Should I search for an entry-level position with a different SEC division, or an enforcement division of another agency (i.e. IRS, CFPB, FTC)? Would doing either and then clerking 3-5 years into my career be wise? Any advise would be great. Further, I'm not expecting to join back with the SEC immediately after graduation - I'm just wondering how to best position myself in the future, especially since the big law ship has sailed for me.
