Too late to mass-mail?
I have only 2 callbacks through my school and am starting to freak out. Is it too late to email like crazy? What is needed, just resume and transcript, or cover letter too?

Nothing is certain. I'm sure many people have struck out with more CBs.Anonymous User wrote:you have 2 callbacks. you are fine.
And OP, it's certainly not too late to MM.

I'm not sure if this was supposed to be a joke, but this is awful advice. Op: it's not ideal to start now, but it's certainly not too late.Anonymous User wrote:you have 2 callbacks. you are fine.

Re: Too late to mass-mail?
Not too late. Probably prime time to start
I had 1 cb from oci and got around 7-8 more through mass mail (not including non-legal positions). Interviews from mass mailing came until Nov-ish. Ultimately struck out but found something in house.
I came close to a few offers but never stuck. There's a bit of luck involved

Re: mass mail -> screener timing, can those come months after you send in your first batch? I've kind of assumed that most of the nibbles I'm going to get MMing are w/i two weeks?

They can, but probably won't unless you follow up.

Re: Too late to mass-mail?
So a follow up should be ~2 weeks after the initial volley right? Is it an email to the recruiter to say I'm still interested in the firm?hoos89 wrote:They can, but probably won't unless you follow up.

Re: Too late to mass-mail?
Varies. Email to the recruiter generally, and preferably with something to update, even if minor. I'd probably wet are more towards 3 week intervals, especially if you don't have an update. You can also try emailing alumni.
