Hi all, figured I'd start a thread for the Phoenix Market OCI. I specifically am a rising 2L at ASU. ASU's OCI starts next Monday. Please post where you're from + where you're interviewing, and any follow ups (callbacks, offers) or any comments about interviews. I'm top 5-10% with LR. I'll be interviewing with the following Phoenix firms:

Gallagher & Kennedy, Gammage & Burnham, Osborn Maledon, Polsinelli, Quarles & Brady, Bowman and Brooke, Dickinson Wright, Fennemore Craig, Snell & Wilmer, Ogletree Deakins, DLA Piper, Littler Mendelson.

My advice would be:

Don't go to Littler. Just don't. Not the Phoenix office.

It's not high on my list, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on why not to go there?

OP here. Got a CB with Polsinelli the night of my interview and got a decline from Quarles a couple days later. Haven't heard back from the rest.

Still hoping to get more people posting here, so we can start getting some timelines out for Phoenix firms.

Does DLA have a summer program? I have a buddy that summered there a few years ago. He said it wasn't very organized and he got no offered. Keep that possibility in mind.

OP here. Just got offered a CB from DLA, probably going to turn it down later today since I received an offer from a firm I like better. Your comment is also not encouraging - thanks for your input amigo.

Offers are indeed in motion. Got my first one last week, another one later this week, been told by some recruiting staff that some firms are offering next week. Just depends - I got a CB offer as late as last Friday.

Regarding Snell - I know they held CBs last week. No word on offers - I got declined after screener.

I've worked with former Snell attorneys (now in-house) and am friends with two of the Snell SA's from last summer (they both got offers). Only heard good things. Very reputable firm in Phoenix, if not the most. Typically have larger (for Phoenix) Summer classes. Deep Phoenix roots, but I know they have some other offices and are trying to expand. All in all, maybe the best/most well-rounded shop in town.

Were the offers from the Super Saturday?

they were from the Super Tuesday with UofA and ASU, I am not aware of the results of the super Saturday. They also had smaller interview days for a few candidates who may get offers or not so the data is not completely accurate.

Any update on Gallagher/DLA/Fennemore/Osborn anybody? have not received official rejections yet

I'm waiting on G&K as well. Talked with the head of recruiting and he said that they'd have finished interviews and made decisions last Saturday, but with the holiday weekend I'd expect calls to go out today. I'll keep you posted with what happens. Don't have any insight into DLA, Fennemore, or Osborn. Squire offered last Thursday, also.

G&K told me last Thursday, so fingers crossed Absolutely no news from the other ones but I doubt they have not moved... Thanks for participating and replying TEM. I'll keep the post updated if I hear anything from anyone.
