Difference in Article 3 judge clerkship vs magistrate judge?

For purposes of better job prospects and possibly AUSA job way down the road, does clerking for an Article 3 judge differ from clerking for a fed magistrate judge?

Yes, but clerking for a magistrate judge is a great way to make yourself competitive for a district court clerkship if you don't have quite the credentials to do so right away. And clerking on a district court makes a world of difference for AUSA and other positions.
