Possible to guage a CB?

Hoping my CB went good, but I feel like it is impossible to tell. First associate and I went to the same school (he spent 5 minutes on my resume and why his firm and then we talked about school for the rest of the interview) Second associate and I had similar sports interests (5 minutes on my resume and why his firm and then we talked sports for 20 minutes) third associate and I had similar interests (again 5 minutes on my resume why her firm and then talked about our similar interested for the rest of the time). Ended with an hour and 1/2 lunch with another associate and a partner. I got in like 3 questions because the partner loved to talk (a little worried I didn't get enough in and seemed too passive). I feel like I fit in great and I think I connected with everyone (got 3 business cards asking me to email with any questions). Any reasons why I wouldn't get an offer? The office is taking 13 summers and I have very very strong ties to their location.

Also interested in the general CB to offer ratio (if there is such a thing)? Assuming you don't do anything very cringey in the cb or otherwise noteworthy to get dat no-offer.

If you think there's anything you could do better in your next CB or screener, think about that. Otherwise probably best to just put it out of mind until they move one way or the other.
Glad you felt good about it though, I'm unable to feel anything but meh after I go through something like that

I was always able to tell if I was going to get an offer after walking out of the CB. Only one time, I thought it went average and ended up getting an offer.
for biglaw, typical ratio is 50% but varies by firm.

It sounds like you had a great interview! Nothing to do but wait, so don't stress about it. The business cards thing is standard procedure, though.

Callbacks are mostly for fit. So the conservations are so varied but don't matter because people want to know if your human and pleasant to be around. That's why the resulting offer rates is fairly high.
Second the poster biglaw callbacks to offers are 50%. I think it's harder to get the callback, anecdotally for me was 25%.

did the recruiter tell you that the hiring committee meets every Friday? Do you mind disclosing the firm name?
