How late in the summer hiring timeline do firms you mass mail typically entertain interviews?

I've MM'd a decent chunk and have one screener so far. Wanting to MM more but I won't be available to interview until toward the end of August because of OCI. If I MM now and indicate in the email that I'll be available like 8/22 or something, is that too late?

Also FYI, most of the firms I will be MMing are smaller/midsize. Not sure if they fit the same hiring timelines as larger firms. The firms I've already MM'd are mostly large firms.

Smaller/midsize firms do hire later / take longer to get back to you typically but my advice would be to not include anything in your MM that could be a limiting factor.. if you get a screener you can figure out availability at that point. Just my opinion
