How would you approach this interview?

I have a screening interview with a partner in Biglaw next week. I have his bio and hes specializes in litigation. I, on the other hand, want to practice on the transactional side. (I mentioned this in my cover letter). I really don't want to say something I probably shouldn't

If the firm has a corporate practice group: "I am rather interested in transactional work, but I have no experience and can't really make an informed opinion regarding what practice group I would like to end up in. I would like to try as much as I can during my summer at your firm. I see in your bio you do X. Why did you choose litigation?"
If the firm does not have a transactional/corporate practice group: You're an idiot.
