Re: 3L OCI Thread.
Anyone have any reason to believe that interviews are coming in the next 2 weeks based off of any sources?

Re: 3L OCI Thread.
They posted on several law schools' Simplicity. Also any people interviewed with other firms for 3L recruiting?? I find it hard to believe that Weil (and Quinn?) are the only firms interviewing this cycle.

Re: 3L OCI Thread.
PW was definitely interviewing 3Ls for transactional practices ~2 weeks ago; not sure if they've filled slots or not as I accepted elsewhere before hearing back--subsequently withdrew myself from consideration.

Re: 3L OCI Thread.
I got an email from PW about 10 days ago saying that they received my application and would contact me in a few weeks if they could offer me an interview. Guessing I'm a backup for the 3Ls they've already interviewed.Anonymous User wrote:PW was definitely interviewing 3Ls for transactional practices ~2 weeks ago; not sure if they've filled slots or not as I accepted elsewhere before hearing back--subsequently withdrew myself from consideration.

That feel when Fried Frank tells you they've filled all their needs, and you see they're interviewing people anyway.Anonymous User wrote:I interviewed with Skadden, Weil and Fried Frank. All NY.

Re: 3L OCI Thread.
Could very well have been based on practice group needs, since 3L hiring seems to be a lot more group-specific. It might be helpful going forward if people indicated whether they interviewed for corporate or litigation.Anonymous User wrote:That feel when Fried Frank tells you they've filled all their needs, and you see they're interviewing people anyway.Anonymous User wrote:I interviewed with Skadden, Weil and Fried Frank. I don't think so - not above poster but FF specifically told me that they are not recruiting 3Ls this year at all but I know now that they are interviewing 3Ls anyway...Anonymous User wrote:Could very well have been based on practice group needs, since 3L hiring seems to be a lot more group-specific. Re: 3L OCI Thread.
Fried Frank is kind of obnoxious, so I'm not surprised. At 2L OCI at my T14 they sent the chair of a major department, and the dude talked about how great the firm was in a "now you listen here, son" kind of way the whole time. He likely wrote me off at the start, but still.

Had a pair of LA dings this week from applications way back, seems like some places are just finally starting to call it in terms of their classes.
