Bidding after mass mailing?

If I mass mail a firm and get an interview, then should I not also bid on that firm? That would be redundant, correct?

A tricker scenario is what if I mass mail a firm, but do not hear back from them by the time bids are due? Should I move them down on my bid list?

rewording for clarity: If I get a pre-OCI interview with a firm by mass mailing, there's no reason to also bid on that firm for OCI, right?

Yes, that's what was conveyed to me directly by both career services at Cornell and the one law firm I met with.

Wondering the same thing and hoping a few more people could weigh in. If you do a pre-OCI interview with a firm and don't get the offer from that, is there any world where you'd get it from interviewing with them again through OCI?

I was told by my career services office that a pre-OCI interview should take the place of your OCI screening interview, UNLESS the firm interviews separately for different cities. In that case, you may bid on the cities you did not have a pre-OCI interview for.
