Bar Stipends

Anyone on West coast know if firms have sent stipends (not salary advances) out yet? Particularly interested in GDC, OMM, Latham, etc.

Yes, a while ago (at least for stipend only firms). It would kinda defeat the purpose to send them out late. Pretty sure they came around end of April/early May.

Yes, a while ago (at least for stipend only firms). It would kinda defeat the purpose to send them out late. Pretty sure they came around end of April/early May.
Tons of firms (not necessarily on the west coast) wait until June or even July to send them, purpose defeating or not.

My firm hasnt sent it out yet. They're waiting to verify that we all actually graduated which is just stupid. If you dont trust us enough to be honest about graduating then what's the point. Also, the risk of one of us not graduating is overwhelmingly outweighed by the stress of waiting on the god damn check so we can pay rent and shit.

My firm's letter detailing stipend said it would be paid with the first pay cycle of June, so I'm assuming June 15th-ish.

My firm pays the stipend this Friday, the first payday in June.
