When someone is about to start mass mailing in a few markets for a 2l summer associate position, does it matter if you mail the same firm in difference offices? Especially if you are gonna interview with one of the offices (hopefully) at OCI?

Example: You might bid Firm X at OCI in DC. But you also want to mass mail that same firm for their NYC office/Boston office, etc etc.

What is the standard procedure? Is that an okay thing to do? Can I mass mail the same firm just for different offices. Also, I would assume you wouldn't want to mass mail the firm in the specific office you might be trying to interview with at OCI.

During my 3L I mass mailed 3 different people in 1 firm and got a response from 1 of them. I seriously doubt they forward each other every job-seeker spam email. Chances are they either look at it or delete it (the latter being more common). So yes, if you can find different people who's worth targeting, go for it.

Okay so it would be no problem just mass mailing every office? Even to a firm I plan on bidding for oci?

Also, lets say I want to bid firm x at oci. My school is pure lottery. Should I mass mail that office anyway before oci?

Lastly, when should I start mass mailing?
