Procrastinating from finals....anyone know what sort of grades you need from MVP for lit? A lower number would be very comforting right now;)

Most callbacks here (one of MVP) were roughly top quarter of the class.

Coming from a slightly lower-ranked school here, roughly top 25-33%: got a backdoor screener from the DC office, then a callback. Dream big.

top quarter *generally*
flexible to top third if you've got something else beyond grades in your favor

To give you more datapoints, I know of CBs from my T20 who were top quarterish w/o law review, but those who received offers were at least ~10% + lr

Yea, may as well.
I received an offer as top 15% at my T20 without LR (but a secondary)

From Penn you can get it if you're median or so

Will dip to median, and occasion even below, at CCN for the right candidate. But then again, this is true for DPW, STB, Cleary, Kirkland, Latham, Skadden as well.

Just a tip: if you don't feel like you're strong for them on the grades front tell them you're considering corporate too, in addition to lit. They need bodies in corporate but at least when I went through recruiting there they were still very much about not making people express a preference, so lots of ppl would tell them they wanted corp and switch to lit. I think they may have been getting wise to it though.
