Do any attorneys on this board, likely solo practice or small firm, ever advertise their services on Craiglist? If so, does it work? What type of practice do you advertise? What kind of clients do you find that a cruising Craiglist for legal representation? Any good stories?

If you are surprised to find out, or never knew attorneys advertise on Craigslist, go check out the "Services" section of the Craigslist page for your area and select "legal."

I knew a woman who practiced criminal defense who advertised a lot on Craiglist, but did not know her well enough to ask her about her advertising practices.

I would if I was a solo working in any low income practice area. BK, crim, domestic, immigration, etc. Free advertising isn't easy to come by. Making a craigslist posting takes like 30 seconds
